Boniface Reflects On Super Eagles Goal Drought

LAGOS – Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has opened up about his challenging journey with Nigeria’s Super Eagles, acknowledging his struggle to find the net for the national team.

In a candid interview, the forward described himself as “unlucky with the national team in terms of scoring goals,” despite maintaining strong performances at club level.

Boniface expressed gratitude for achieving his childhood dream of representing Nigeria, stating, “Because it has not worked good for me with the national team does not mean I am a bad player.”

The 24-year-old also addressed his contentment with life in Germany, where he is currently on loan at Werder Bremen, and dismissed criticism of his social media activity as unnecessary scrutiny.
