Abia Zonal Inaugurations Scheduled as Organizers Mobilize Members

Preparations have been finalized for the upcoming zonal inaugurations across Abia State, as organizers call for strong participation and coordination among members.

In an official communication signed by Dr Charles Ukeagu, the approved schedule outlines three key dates for the exercise across the state’s zones.

According to the statement, Abia South will hold its inauguration on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at St. Anne’s Primary School, Obehie in Ukwa West.

This will be followed by Abia Central on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at MOUAU Primary School in Ikwuano. The final exercise for Abia North is slated for Thursday, April 16, 2026, at OC Primary School Field, Elu Ohafia, beside the Presbyterian Church.

CDA News Nigeria gathered that all events are scheduled to commence at 12 noon.

The organizing committee emphasized the importance of full representation across all wards, urging coordinators at state, zonal, and local government levels to intensify mobilization efforts.

The statement highlighted the need to give the inauguration “the facelift it deserves,” reflecting the significance of the exercise in strengthening organizational structure and unity.

Additionally, the Head of Programme and Event has been tasked with liaising with zonal coordinators and establishing a functional platform to ensure seamless coordination ahead of the inaugurations.

Stakeholders believe the exercise will serve as a critical step in consolidating grassroots engagement and enhancing operational effectiveness across the zones.
