ADC Chieftain Faults Kanu’s Judgment, Appeals to Tinubu for Amnesty

ABIA STATE – Chief Chukwunma Nnochiri, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Abia Central hopeful, has publicly criticized the life sentence given to IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu.

In a public statement, Chief Nnochiri faulted the judgment, drawing a contrast with the freedom of individuals like Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, who he implied operates without legal consequence.

Following his criticism of the judicial process, the ADC chieftain made a direct appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to grant amnesty to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The appeal positions amnesty as a potential executive solution to the long-standing legal and political issue.
