The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has issued a strong warning to supporters of presidential aspirants within the party, urging an immediate end to rhetoric that promotes division and unhealthy exceptionalism.
In a statement released by the party’s National Leadership, the ADC emphasized the need for unity and ideological focus as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.
The party cautioned that while internal democracy and competition are encouraged, campaigns driven by sentiment, ethnicity, or divisive narratives undermine the party’s cohesion and national appeal.
ADC reaffirmed its commitment to issue-based engagement and called on all stakeholders to prioritize the party’s collective interest over individual ambitions.
