The City Boy Movement has officially approved dates for its zonal inaugurations, with the Abia Central chapter set to hold its event on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at MOUAU Primary School, Ikwuano, by 12 noon.

This was disclosed in a memorandum signed by the Organizing Secretary, Dr. Charles Ukeagu, and addressed to all state executives, zonal coordinators, and local government coordinators.

In the statement, which also conveyed warm Easter holiday greetings, Dr. Ukeagu directed all coordinators to ensure full representation across the wards. “Kindly mobilize members effectively and give the inauguration the facelift it deserves,” the memo read.

The Head of Programme and Event has also been instructed to reach out to zonal leaders and establish a platform for seamless coordination of the inauguration exercise.

The City Boy Movement has grown into a formidable grassroots network, known for mobilizing young people and advocating for good governance, community development, and political inclusion. The upcoming inauguration is expected to attract a large turnout of members and supporters from across Abia Central.

Dr. Ukeagu expressed confidence in the capacity of all coordinators to deliver a successful event. He thanked them in advance for their compliance and dedication, praying that God would bless their efforts.

All eyes are now on Ikwuano as the movement prepares to formally inaugurate its structures and chart a course for greater impact in the region.
