City Boy Movement, Isuikwuato LGA Chapter Stands in Solidarity with State Publicity Secretary at Mother’s Burial

The Isuikwuato LGA Chapter of the City Boy Movement joined friends, family, and well-wishers in Umuobiala, Isuikwuato, to bid a final farewell to Late Deaconess Joy Ikwuagwu, mother of the State Publicity Secretary, Chief Eric Dwyse Ikwuagwu.

The solemn event, which drew dignitaries from within and outside Abia State, was marked by heartfelt tributes celebrating the life, values, and legacy of the deceased. The late Deaconess was widely described as a devoted Christian, a nurturing mother, and a pillar of her community.

Members of the City Boy Movement, Isuikwuato LGA Chapter, graced the event to demonstrate unity and solidarity with their brother during this period of mourning. Their presence underscored the deep bond and sense of family that exists within the movement.

The burial ceremony was not only a moment of grief but also a celebration of a life well lived, as friends and associates reflected on the impactful and exemplary life of Late Deaconess Joy Ikwuagwu. Speakers praised her humility, faith, and unwavering commitment to the upbringing of her children and the development of her community.

Chief Eric Dwyse Ikwuagwu, visibly moved by the outpouring of support, thanked the City Boy Movement and all who came to honour his mother’s memory. He described her as his greatest supporter and source of strength.
