Adeleke Vows to Keep Dancing, Says It Doesn’t Affect His Job as Osun Governor

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has firmly stated that he will continue his public dancing, dismissing criticisms that it affects his performance in office.

Known as “the dancing governor,” Adeleke made the declaration during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday. He explained that dancing is his hobby and a form of relaxation that does not hinder his administrative duties.

“I will keep dancing because I love to dance, I love to praise my God, and that doesn’t change anything. So, I will still dance, praise my God, and do my work,” Adeleke said.

The governor, who recently defected to the Accord Party to secure his re-election bid in 2026, emphasized his commitment to continuing his people-focused policies regardless of political affiliation.
