APC Expands Tinubu’s Campaign Council

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released a supplementary list expanding the leadership and membership of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

CDA News Nigeria gathered that the list was announced on Wednesday in a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka. The party noted that the additional appointments cut across various directorates, sectoral groups, mobilisation structures, and operational units.

The supplementary list builds on the initial membership unveiled in August 2026, which had President Tinubu as Chairman, Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda as Vice Chairmen, and former Zamfara Governor Senator Abdulaziz Yari as Director-General.

A revised list issued in mid-October adopted a “rainbow coalition” approach, bringing in high-profile figures from outside the core APC fold. These included FCT Minister Nyesom Wike (Rivers/FCT coordinator), Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, and Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo. The Council was formally inaugurated on October 14, 2026.

CDA News Nigeria reports that Wednesday’s supplementary list continues this enlargement process, adding more leaders to strengthen nationwide coordination and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general election. The party reiterated its commitment to effective coordination among the different components of the PCC.
