Supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State have criticized former House of Representatives aspirant, Chukwudi Apugo, over a viral video released on his birthday in which he reportedly made remarks against the party and its National Assembly candidates in the Ikwuano/Umuahia zone.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that the APC supporters described Apugo’s comments as “bitter” and “unhelpful,” alleging that his remarks suggested he would work against the party’s candidates in future elections.
The supporters also dismissed any possibility of reconciliation with Apugo, accusing him of seeking political relevance through public criticism of the APC. They maintained that the party should remain focused on strengthening its structures ahead of the 2027 general elections rather than engaging in internal disputes.
According to the supporters, the party’s priority is to unite members committed to its success in Abia State. They urged party faithful to remain focused and avoid actions capable of undermining the APC’s electoral prospects in the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency.
They said Empty talk, We will never negotiate with terrorists and acclaimed political jobbers seeking attention from Labour party. Ono Ngo Ono Nosie Ike.
