As political consultations and strategic visitations intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, Abia Central Senatorial District hopeful and top APC contender, Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma, has paid a significant courtesy visit to APC leader and critical stakeholder in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government, Chief Nnamdi Amala, alongside other key party stakeholders, canvassing support for the party’s senatorial ticket.
Addressing the gathering, Atuma expressed gratitude to the Osisioma Ngwa stakeholders for their patience and warm reception, reaffirming his readiness to clinch the APC ticket and deliver victory for the party at the red chambers.
The former House of Representatives member highlighted his legislative pedigree, noting landmark achievements during his tenure at the green chamber — including sponsoring two private bills that gave birth to NOSDRA and NESREA, both of which remain active government agencies and employers of labour today.
Atuma challenged fellow contestants to a public debate on their scorecards, questioning the capacity of those who previously held party tickets but failed to deliver electoral victory. He equally dismissed rotation sentiments, insisting the Senate demands capacity, competence, and the ability to attract development — not sentiment.
Responding, the stakeholders praised Atuma’s experience, eloquence, and leadership qualities, with Chief Amala affirming Osisioma Ngwa’s full support for his aspiration.
