A prominent stakeholder in Abia State politics, Chief Esv. Festus Chidozie Egbulefu (Don Spice), has declared his support for Emeka Atuma in the race for the Abia Central Senatorial seat.
Egbulefu made his position known during a recent interaction with political associates, where he described Atuma as a seasoned leader with the experience and capacity required to effectively represent the people at the National Assembly.
According to him, Atuma’s track record in public service and his longstanding engagement with grassroots communities make him a suitable candidate for the Senate.
He emphasized that the people of Abia Central deserve quality representation that will attract development and address key challenges facing the constituency.
“Emeka Atuma has the competence and understanding of the needs of our people.
He has shown commitment over the years, and I believe he is the right person for the job,” Egbulefu stated.
He further called on stakeholders and voters across the senatorial district to rally behind Atuma, stressing the importance of unity and strategic leadership ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Political observers note that the endorsement could strengthen Atuma’s position as consultations and alignments continue within Abia Central.
The Abia Central Senatorial race is expected to attract significant interest, with various political actors positioning themselves ahead of the contest.
