Prominent APC chieftain, Dr. Chibudom Jephthah Chigozirim, has warmly commended Umuahia North APC stakeholders for their unanimous endorsement of Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, popularly known as Don Lulu, for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency House of Representatives seat.
In a statement, Dr. Chigozirim described the stakeholders’ decision as a bold and commendable demonstration of genuine leadership, noting that their collective stand for equity, fairness, and justice reflects the kind of political maturity the constituency truly deserves.
He expressed confidence that the endorsement marks a turning point for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, stressing that the time has come for real change and a genuine rescue mission for the long-suffering people of the constituency.
According to him, the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia have waited long enough for purposeful and inclusive representation, and the emergence of Mayor Lucky Igbokwe as consensus candidate represents a fresh breath of hope.
Dr. Chigozirim called on all APC faithful, community leaders, and well-meaning residents of the constituency to rally behind the endorsed candidate and work collectively toward victory.
