Lagos Outreach Celebrates Young Creators, Awards Six Talented Youths

The Spiritans Sound Outreach has recognized and awarded six outstanding young talents at the 2025 edition of its “Treasures Unveiled” program, held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Hall in Igbogila, Ipaja, Lagos.

The event, founded by Reverend Father Oluwafemi Victor, brought together young creators, volunteers, benefactors, and supporters for a day of inspiration and celebration focused on talent development.

A key highlight was a talk by Uche Akolisa on “Growing Your Talents in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” which emphasized creativity, discipline, and adaptability in a fast-changing digital world. This was followed by presentations and a round-table discussion by the “Young Creators”—gifted youths within the outreach’s mentorship program.

The program culminated in the presentation of the Young Creators Awards to six recipients: Gideon Oshemen, Agu Francisca Amarachi, Victor Vodunu, Agbo Clement, Kayla Iyayi, and Charles Alaedu. Their talents span robotics, art, music, storytelling, and spiritual pursuits.

“The Young Creator’s Award is more than recognition; it opens the door to mentorship, visibility, and growth,” a program official stated, noting the award’s role in building a network for young innovators.

The event also featured the presentation of Spiritans Sound Merit Awards to key supporters and the unveiling of the latest edition of the Treasures Unveiler Magazine.
