(Umudike/Umuariaga) – In a ceremony celebrating service and kindness, Dr. Ifeanyi Uke was presented with the prestigious 2025 Compassion-In-Action Award by the Women’s Ministries of the Assemblies of God Church, Oboro II Section.
The award was given during the ministry’s end-of-year thanksgiving event held on Saturday, November 1st. The National Women’s President, Dcns. Mrs. Onyinyechi Stephen (Ph.D.), praised Dr. Uke’s philanthropic efforts, noting their “ripple effects of transformation” across society.
Ms. Lovelyn Nwabuko, secretary of the award committee, explained the choice, stating, “The award best summarizes him, Compassion in Action. He has a milk of kindness flowing through him and he prioritizes the needs of others above his.”
Lolo Martha Nmesirionye accepted the award on behalf of her brother, Dr. Uke, thanking the organization and assuring that his foundation would continue its work to better society.
The event was attended by many dignitaries from the community.
