EARLY RESULTS emerging from the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) Abia Central Senatorial District primary election indicate that frontline aspirant, Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma, has secured victory over Hon. Sam Onuigbo in his ward — a significant early signal of the direction of the exercise.
Information reaching CDA News desk further indicates that Atuma is maintaining a commanding lead across several parts of the senatorial zone as result collation continues. The atmosphere across the zone remains calm, with party faithful and supporters monitoring the exercise with keen interest.
Observers on ground report the primary has been conducted peacefully, with optimism growing within the Atuma campaign structure over the unfolding results.
