Emeka Atuma Thanks APC Leaders, Calls for Unity After Primary Victory

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Abia Central Senatorial District in the 2027 general election, Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma, has expressed appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders, delegates, and members for their support following his victory at the party’s senatorial primary.

CDA News Nigeria gathered that Atuma spoke during a thanksgiving and appreciation meeting held at his campaign office in Umuahia, where he thanked party faithful from Ikwuano, Umuahia North, Umuahia South, Isiala Ngwa North, Isiala Ngwa South, and Osisioma Ngwa for their confidence in his candidacy.

He described his emergence as the APC flag bearer as a collective victory and pledged to work with all party members to secure victory in the 2027 general election. Atuma also called for reconciliation, unity, and inclusiveness, stressing that every member has a role to play regardless of their position during the primary election.

The APC senatorial candidate commended the party leadership for conducting what he described as a peaceful and credible primary election, assuring support7ers that his campaign would focus on issues affecting the people of Abia Central.

Also speaking, the APC candidate for Isiala Ngwa North/Isiala Ngwa South Federal Constituency, Chief Uzoma Ihuka, urged South-East leaders and citizens to strengthen their participation in national politics to attract greater development opportunities.

Other party leaders, including Chief Ike Anyatonwu, Nnamdi Amala Nwosu, Chuks B. Oriaku, Prince Tony Eze, Tony Otuonye, and the Director-General of the Emeka Atuma Campaign Organization, Hon. Chidi Nwosu, also reaffirmed their commitment to party unity and electoral success.

CDA News Nigeria reports that the appreciation meeting was attended by the APC Abia Central Zonal Chairman, Prince Anthony Okeh; APC State Publicity Secretary, High Chief Uche Aguoru; members of the State Working Committee; former NURTW Chairman, Comrade Eugene Eze Job; and other party stakeholders from across Abia Central.
