Eze Aro Visits Ajatanigu Autonomous Community, Strengthens Royal Bond

AJATANIGU – The ancient ties of royalty and cultural diplomacy were renewed on January 2, 2026, when the Eze Aro Ancient Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Dr. Eberechukwu Oji, paid a historic visit to the Ajatanigu Autonomous Community ,Ikwuano LGA of Abia state.

The revered monarch was received by the community’s traditional ruler, King Larry Ogbonnaya Agwu (Eze Onyeoruru 1 of Ajatanigu), amidst jubilation from residents who celebrated the significance of the visit.

In his address, King Larry Agwu applauded Eze Aro for the landmark visit, describing it as a demonstration of unity, respect, and shared heritage between the two royal stools.

The visit highlights the enduring importance of traditional institutions in fostering harmony, cultural preservation, and Aro kingdom dialogue in Igbo land.

Both monarchs are respected figures within Abia State’s traditional leadership structure, and their engagement is seen as a step toward deeper collaboration for community development reaching out to the Aro’s in diaspora.
