The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has uncovered a suspected bandits’ hideout in **Dajin Madam Forest**, located between Plateau and Bauchi states, recovering **two FN FAL rifles** and live ammunition during the operation.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the raid was conducted by operatives of the Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit following intelligence obtained during the investigation of four suspects allegedly involved in supplying arms, ammunition, and illicit substances to bandits.
CDA News gathered from the report that the operation was carried out on **August 2** after one of the arrested suspects, identified as **Musbahu Ishaq**, reportedly provided credible intelligence that led security operatives to the forest hideout.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer of the FCT Command, **SP Josephine Adeh**, the recovered weapons and ammunition have been taken into police custody, while efforts are ongoing to arrest other members of the criminal network.
The police reaffirmed their commitment to combating kidnapping, banditry, and illegal arms trafficking, urging members of the public to continue providing timely and credible information to support security operations.
Investigations are ongoing as authorities intensify efforts to dismantle criminal networks operating within and around the Federal Capital Territory.
