Fire Engulfs Aka God Filling Station in Nkwoegwu, Residents Seek Urgent Intervention

A fire outbreak has reportedly occurred at Aka God Filling Station, located in Nkwoegwu, Abia State, triggering panic among residents and motorists in the area.

Eyewitnesses said flames were seen billowing from the filling station, raising fears of a possible escalation due to the presence of highly flammable petroleum products.

Residents have made an urgent appeal to the Abia State Fire Service and other emergency responders to swiftly move to the scene to contain the inferno and prevent further damage to lives and property.

At the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire had yet to be determined, while there was no immediate confirmation of casualties or the extent of damage caused by the incident.

Motorists and residents have been advised to avoid the affected area to allow emergency officials unhindered access to carry out rescue and firefighting operations.
