Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Spain, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, has received with appreciation the message of felicitation from the Governor of Abia State, His Excellency Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, on his recent appointment and posting .
In a statement issued by his Media Adviser, Enyinnaya Appolos, Dr. Ikpeazu expressed sincere gratitude to the Governor for the goodwill extended on behalf of his family, the Government, and the good people of Abia State .
Dr. Ikpeazu noted that the message reflects the enduring spirit of statesmanship and the shared commitment of leaders, across administrations, to work collectively in the service of Abia State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria .
The former Governor of Abia State assured His Excellency the Governor, and the good people of Abia State, of his unwavering commitment to the discharge of his diplomatic responsibilities with diligence, patriotism, and a strong sense of duty .
“He remains dedicated to advancing Nigeria’s interests while promoting constructive diplomatic engagement that reflects the values, aspirations, and development potential of the nation,” the statement read .
Dr. Ikpeazu’s appointment as Ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Spain was recently announced by the Federal Government, and his response to Governor Otti’s felicitation signals a spirit of partisan cooperation and shared commitment to the progress of Abia State and Nigeria .
