…LASEPA Shuts 12 Establishments Across Six Areas for Noise Pollution, Non-Compliance
The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has sealed 12 establishments across parts of Lagos State over alleged persistent violations of environmental regulations.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the enforcement exercise was carried out on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, across Ogba, Idimu-Ikota, Ejigbo, LASU-Iba Road, Igando, and Agodo-Egbe.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that LASEPA said the affected establishments had allegedly continued to violate environmental regulations despite repeated warnings, abatement notices, and opportunities to comply with the agency’s directives.
Among the facilities sealed was Thrillz Lounge on Odusanmi Street, Ogba, which LASEPA said was shut down over noise pollution and non-compliance with its directives. A church and hotels were also among the establishments affected.
The agency said the enforcement was carried out in line with Lagos State Government directives to enforce environmental laws and protect public health.
