The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has issued a public warning to residents in parts of Kaduna State ahead of a scheduled shooting exercise for its cadets.
In a statement released by Major Mohammed Maidawa, the Academy’s Public Relations Officer, the NDA advised inhabitants of Afaka, Kauya, Tsamiya, and Mando to avoid its open range area in Afaka.
The military exercise is designed for cadets of the 73 Regular Course (Army) and is scheduled to run from Tuesday, October 31st, through Tuesday, November 7th.
The NDA reassured the public that all necessary safety measures have been implemented to ensure the exercise is conducted successfully and without incident. The statement concluded with the highest regards from the Commandant, Major-General Abdul Ibrahim.(CDA News)
