UMUAHIA, ABIA STATE — Frontline APC aspirant for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency seat, Sir Mark Ugorji, has declared that constituents are deeply dissatisfied with the current level of representation, vowing to chart a new course if elected in 2027 .
Speaking in an exclusive interview shortly after meeting with Umuahia North APC stakeholders at the residence of Sir Stanley Ohajuruka, Ugorji did not hold back in his assessment of incumbent lawmaker Obi Aguocha’s performance .
“Even among his supporters, there is clear dissatisfaction. They are not satisfied at all. The reality is that nothing significant has been done,” Ugorji stated .
The Olokoro-born aspirant, who recounted self-funding over 2km of roads in his community and securing jobs abroad for numerous constituents, pledged to leverage strategic networks within governance circles to attract tangible development .
“I will position myself within the right circles where decisions are made. From there, I can effectively attract opportunities, resources, and development that will directly benefit my people,” he assured .
Responding, stakeholder Chairman Sir Stanley Ohajuruka endorsed Ugorji’s capacity, urging delegates to avoid candidates who would “disgrace” the constituency. “We can’t continue to scream Umuahia North! We need to change the narrative,” Ohajuruka declared .
