Uba Sani Calls for Unity at NW Development Summit

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has called for stronger regional collaboration to drive development in Nigeria’s North West zone.

Speaking at the North West Stakeholders Development Summit in Kaduna on Saturday, the governor emphasized that challenges such as insecurity, educational deficits, and economic shocks are cross-border issues that require a unified approach.

He described the newly established North West Development Commission as a strategic partner—not a competitor—to state governments, capable of harmonizing priorities and unlocking economies of scale.

Governor Sani stressed the need to move from planning to actionable results, urging stakeholders to focus on human capital development, value-added agriculture, and youth empowerment to harness the region’s demographic potential.
