Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu Declares for Ikwuano Assembly Seat Amidst 5,000-Strong Crowd

IKWUANO, ABIA STATE — The political landscape of Ikwuano Local Government Area witnessed an extraordinary show of force as Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu, a renowned philanthropist and leader of the For Us By Us Youth Movement, formally declared his intention to contest the Ikwuano State House of Assembly seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) .

An overwhelming crowd exceeding 5,000 supporters, including a formidable women’s wing known as Ndinne Chika, stormed the APC secretariat at the local government headquarters to cheer the aspirant during his declaration .

The mammoth turnout effectively brought commercial activities to a standstill as party faithful, community leaders, and youth groups thronged the venue to witness what many described as an unprecedented show of grassroots support .

Addressing the ecstatic crowd, Ishionwu pledged to deliver people-centred representation anchored on youth empowerment, women development, and legislative excellence. He vowed to bridge the gap between the government and the people, ensuring that dividends of democracy reach every ward in the constituency .

“This overwhelming support is a testament to the yearnings of our people for a new dawn. I will not betray this trust,” Ishionwu declared to thunderous applause .
