LAGOS – Social media commentator VeryDarkMan has publicly apologized following his recent physical altercation with comedian Mr. Jollof aboard a United Nigeria Airlines flight, which led to both being handed over to security agencies.
In a statement posted on his social media platforms, the controversial activist expressed regret over the incident, acknowledging that his actions were inappropriate and disruptive to other passengers and crew.
“I deeply regret the incident that occurred on the flight with Mr. Jollof. Regardless of the provocation, I should have exercised more restraint and maturity,” VeryDarkMan stated in his apology.
The comedian, Mr. Jollof, has yet to make a public statement regarding the apology or the altercation, which occurred during a flight earlier this week and required crew intervention to restore calm.
United Nigeria Airlines had earlier confirmed that both individuals were handed over to security agencies following the incident, in line with the airline’s zero-tolerance policy towards disruptive behavior.
