The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State has called on party members to intensify grassroots mobilisation and remain united in their efforts to secure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the party chairman urged APC supporters to approach the political contest with determination, saying members must fight “like wounded lions” to ensure victory for the party and its candidates at all levels.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that the chairman made the remarks during a meeting with party stakeholders, where he emphasized the need for loyalty, discipline, and effective grassroots engagement ahead of the election season.
According to him, the APC must remain focused on consolidating its achievements while presenting a united front capable of delivering electoral success in Imo State and across the country. He urged members to avoid internal divisions and work collectively toward strengthening the party’s structures.
The party chairman also reaffirmed the Imo APC’s commitment to supporting President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing confidence that sustained mobilisation and collaboration among party faithful would translate into victory at the polls.
He encouraged members to continue engaging with communities, promoting the party’s programmes, and maintaining peaceful political activities as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
