Former Abia State Commissioner for Information, Barrister Eze Chikamnayo, has denied ownership of a Facebook account that recently posted allegations of fraud against Governor Alex Otti.
The account, bearing the name “Iyierioba Chikamnayo,” published posts accusing the governor of financial misconduct, but the ex-commissioner has firmly disowned the profile.
Chikamnayo stated that the account does not belong to him and dismissed all fraudulent claims made against Governor Otti as false and fabricated.
The incident highlights the recurring challenge of fake social media accounts being used to spread misinformation and politically motivated allegations.
No official response has yet been issued by the Abia State Government regarding the discredited posts.
