ABUJA, NIGERIA — Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma has reaffirmed his commitment to party unity after attending a high-level caucus meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja ahead of the party’s National Convention.

The strategic meeting brought together key stakeholders to deliberate on strengthening internal cohesion, aligning party structures, and ensuring a smooth and successful convention. During the meeting, Atuma joined other party leaders in endorsing Donatus Nwankpa as the consensus candidate for National Welfare Secretary, and Ogbonna for the position of Zonal Youth Leader.

Reiterating his dedication, Atuma pledged to continue working collaboratively with party members to advance the ideals of the APC and contribute to its stability and success.

As preparations intensify for the National Convention, political observers say the adoption of consensus candidates may strengthen party cohesion and reduce internal tensions.
