Atuma Felicitates Muslims, Calls for Unity on Eid-el-Fitr

UMUAHIA, NIGERIA — A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Emeka Atuma, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful in Abia State and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.

In his goodwill message, Atuma congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, commending their devotion, discipline, and commitment to spiritual values such as fasting, prayer, sacrifice, and charity.

He emphasized that these virtues are essential for building a peaceful, united, and progressive society. “On behalf of myself and the good people of Abia Central Senatorial District, I heartily congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

May this auspicious occasion bring renewed joy, abundant blessings, and lasting peace to every home across our dear nation,” he stated.

The former lawmaker urged Nigerians to continue upholding the values of love, compassion, tolerance, and unity beyond the Ramadan period, noting that Nigeria’s strength lies in its diversity.

He stressed that mutual respect and understanding remain key to fostering national harmony.

Atuma further called on citizens, regardless of religious or ethnic backgrounds, to promote peaceful coexistence and national cohesion, adding that sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere of unity.

Eid-el-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and is celebrated with prayers, thanksgiving, and acts of charity among Muslims worldwide.
