The Young Progressives Party (YPP) has released its roadmap for the 2027 general elections, unveiling a detailed timetable for congresses, primaries, and its national convention .
The decisions were ratified at the party’s 25th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held at its national secretariat in Abuja, according to a statement by YPP National Publicity Secretary, Egbeola Martins .
Nomination Fees and Concessions
The NEC approved nomination fees pegged at N50 million for presidential aspirants; N20 million for governorship; N8 million for Senate; N3 million for House of Representatives; and N1.5 million for State House of Assembly hopefuls .
Expression of Interest forms will be provided for free. However, the party introduced a 50% concession on nomination fees for aspirants under 40 years, women, and persons living with disabilities .

Under the approved schedule:
Ward Congresses: May 21, 2026
Local Government Congresses: May 22, 2026
State Congresses: May 23, 2026
State Assembly Primaries: May 24, 2026
House of Representatives & Senate Primaries: May 25, 2026
Governorship Primaries: May 26, 2026
National Convention & Presidential Primary: May 30, 2026
