Chika Ishionwu Promises Inclusive Leadership, Plans Constituency Offices in Ikwuano

An Abia State Houseof Assembly New Dawn, Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu, has reiterated his commitment to inclusive leadership and grassroots development, positioning himself as part of a new generation of leaders focused on unity and collective progress.

In a statement released by his campaign media unit, Ishionwu emphasized the need to move beyond divisive interests, advocating for a people-centered approach anchored on his “For Us, By Us” ideology.

He stressed that unity remains key to unlocking the full potential of Ikwuano.

According to the statement, Ishionwu believes that prioritizing the collective interest of the people will enable the area to overcome longstanding challenges and achieve sustainable growth.

As part of his development agenda, he pledged to establish four fully functional constituency offices across Ikwuano—an initiative aimed at bringing leadership closer to the people and ensuring broader community participation in governance.

The proposed offices, he noted, would serve as channels for engagement, feedback, and service delivery, giving residents greater access to representation and decision-making processes.

Observers say such proposals reflect a growing emphasis among emerging political actors on grassroots inclusion and accessibility.

Ishionwu concluded his message with a call for unity and shared progress, urging residents to embrace collective responsibility in shaping the future of Ikwuano.
