Umuahia North Stakeholders Endorse Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, Call for Respect of Zoning Agreement

Stakeholders and leaders of Umuahia North Local Government Area have called on political actors to respect the existing zoning arrangement guiding the Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency seat.

The leaders stated that the decision reached by stakeholders was based on equity, justice, and fairness, stressing that it is the turn of Ohuhu clan to complete its second term at the House of Representatives.

They condemned what they described as attempts by desperate individuals to create unnecessary tension in Umuahia North through sponsored protests and political propaganda aimed at discrediting the genuine agreement already reached by party leaders and stakeholders.

According to the stakeholders, non-party actors should stop interfering in the internal affairs of the party for personal political gain and cheap attention.

The group reaffirmed its support and endorsement for Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, popularly known as Don Lulu, describing him as a credible leader with the capacity to effectively represent the constituency and attract development to the area.

They further urged party faithful and supporters to remain peaceful, united, and committed to the collective interest of the constituency ahead of the elections.
