APC Candidate Onyeulo Joins Thousands to Bid Farewell to Samuel Chukwueze’s Mother in Umuahia

Hon. Chibuike Peter Onyeolu, popularly known as Ceejay Rambo and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Abia State House of Assembly, Umuahia South Constituency, was among thousands of dignitaries, political leaders, friends, and well-wishers who gathered in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, to bid a final farewell to Mrs. Sarah Chukwueze — the beloved mother of Nigerian international football star Samuel Chukwueze and Mr. Eze Chukwueze.

The burial ceremony drew prominent personalities from across Nigeria who came to honour the memory of a woman widely respected for her virtues, her dedication to family, and her profound impact on those around her.

Speaking through his media office, Hon. Onyeolu described the late Mrs. Chukwueze as a remarkable woman whose values of discipline, hard work, faith, and sacrifice helped shape a family that continues to inspire millions within and outside Nigeria.

The APC candidate extended heartfelt condolences to the Chukwueze family and prayed for God’s strength and comfort to sustain them through their grief.
“The passing of a mother leaves a void that can never truly be filled, but her love, sacrifices, and teachings will remain a guiding light for generations. We celebrate a life well lived and pray that her gentle soul rests in perfect peace,” Hon. Onyeolu said.

He noted that while her passing represents a painful and irreplaceable loss, the late Mrs. Sarah Chukwueze’s legacy would continue to live on through her children and the many lives she touched across the length and breadth of Nigeria.

The funeral gathering in Umuahia served as a powerful testament to the esteem in which Mrs. Chukwueze was held — a quiet force behind a family that has brought pride and global recognition to Abia State and Nigeria.
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
