Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that he and United States President Donald Trump are in full agreement that Iran must never be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.
Speaking amid ongoing diplomatic efforts and heightened tensions in the Middle East, Netanyahu reaffirmed Israel’s long-standing position that Iran’s nuclear ambitions pose a serious threat to regional and global security.
“Trump and I fully agree that Iran will never have nuclear weapons,” the Israeli leader stated, underscoring the close coordination between both allies on the issue.
The remarks came as President Trump indicated that progress was being made toward a possible understanding with Iran aimed at preventing the Islamic Republic from acquiring nuclear weapons. Trump has repeatedly maintained that ensuring Iran does not obtain such capabilities remains a key objective of U.S. foreign policy.
However, questions remain over the exact terms of any potential agreement, with Iranian officials yet to publicly confirm that a final deal has been reached. Reports suggest discussions are ongoing, even as world powers continue to push for a diplomatic resolution to the decades-long dispute over Iran’s nuclear programme.
The development is being closely watched across the globe due to its implications for Middle East stability, international security, and global energy markets.
