Tinubu’s Promises to Satellite Towns, Area Councils Being Fulfilled – Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is fulfilling his campaign promises to residents of the Federal Capital Territory, particularly those living in satellite towns and the six Area Councils.

CDA News Nigeria gathered that Wike made the remarks while highlighting ongoing infrastructure and development projects across the FCT. He stated that the Tinubu administration has prioritised road construction, healthcare, education, and other critical projects aimed at improving the lives of residents in both the city centre and underserved communities.

According to the minister, the Federal Government has demonstrated its commitment to inclusive development by extending the dividends of democracy to satellite towns that had experienced years of inadequate infrastructure and limited government attention.

Wike noted that the administration remains focused on ensuring that no part of the FCT is left behind, stressing that projects currently being executed across the Area Councils are evidence of President Tinubu’s determination to deliver on his electoral promises.

CDA News Nigeria reports that the minister also urged residents to continue supporting the administration, expressing confidence that ongoing projects would boost economic activities, improve living standards, and enhance access to essential public services across the Federal Capital Territory.

The FCT Administration has continued to implement various infrastructure and social intervention projects as part of its efforts to accelerate development and improve the welfare of residents.
