Torch of Unity Movement Concludes Campus Tour Ahead of Abia Sports Fiesta

The Torch of Unity movement successfully concluded its campus tour on Friday with visits to four tertiary institutions in Abia State, generating widespread excitement for the upcoming sports fiesta scheduled to begin on November 25, 2025.

The final leg of the tour included stops at Amadeus University, Amizi; Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike; Federal Polytechnic, Ngodo-Isuochi; and Spiritan University, Nneochi. Each institution welcomed the delegation with colourful receptions and expressions of confidence in their competitive readiness.

At Amadeus University, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Samuel Nzotta expressed certainty about his institution’s competitive prospects, while Michael Okpara University’s Prof. Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe affirmed their preparedness to win upcoming sporting events.

The tour, marked by enthusiastic student participation and administrative support, has successfully built anticipation for the inter-institutional sports competition that aims to foster unity among Abia’s educational institutions.
