Ibere Clan Appoints Interim Leadership for Development Union

IBERE, Abia State – The Ibere Clan Development Union Ikwuano LGA (ICDU) has inaugurated a seven-member interim executive committee to steer the community’s affairs for the next three months.

The appointment follows the dissolution of the former executive led by Chief M.C. Uzuegbu, whose tenure recently expired. The interim government, drawn from the seven autonomous communities within the Ibere Clan, has been charged with conducting fresh elections and representing the clan in development matters at local, state, and federal levels.

Notable appointments includes
(1) Chief Clement Onukwue – Acting PG ( Ugwu Ibere Autonomous Community)

(2) Bro. Emmanuel Victor Orji – Acting Vice President (Otu uzo Autonomous Community)

(3) Dr. Green Nwaoha – Acting Secretary ( Oro Ibere Autonomous Community)

(4) Mr. Ikechi Mpamah – Acting Assistant Secretary ( Obi Ibere Autonomous Community)

(5) Mr. Sunday Ehihie – Acting Treasurer/Financial Secretary.

(6) Chief Chidiebere Okezie Onwunagha – Acting Publicity Secretary (Ibere Ancient Kingdom)

(7) Chief Chima Ochiuwa – Acting Provost (Agbo Ibere Autonomous Community).

Community leaders have expressed support for the new interim executives, advising them to remain focused on development initiatives during their short tenure.
