The Airport Police Command has arraigned a 47-year-old man, Mark Agbor, over alleged impersonation and unauthorised access to restricted areas at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Adeola Mohammed, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday. She said the suspect, a staff member of Pathfinders International Limited, was handed over to the International Division of the Airport Police Command by the Nigerian Air Force’s Provost Investigation Unit in Ikeja for further investigation.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that, according to the police, he allegedly posted a video on social media on October 7, 2026, presenting himself as the owner of two military combat helicopters and saying one of them was for sale. The police said he appeared to be seeking buyers online.
After investigations ended, the suspect was arraigned before a court of competent jurisdiction, and the case was adjourned until November 18, 2026. The statement did not name the court or give his plea.
The Commissioner of Police, Airport Police Command, CP Olufunke Ogunbode, said such conduct has serious security implications and could undermine the operations of security agencies. She praised the collaboration between the command and the Air Force, and urged companies operating at the airport to strengthen employee screening, vetting and background checks.
The suspect has not been tried, and the allegations remain unproven in court. CDA News Nigeria could not reach him or his employer for comment.
