The All Progressives Congress (APC) will officially kick off its 2027 presidential campaign in Kaduna State tomorrow, Saturday, October 24, 2026.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that President Bola Tinubu and top party leaders will lead the rally as the ruling party intensifies efforts to secure the North, which accounts for 56.01 million of Nigeria’s 103.43 million registered voters.
The event is expected to feature 31 state governors, party chieftains, and a massive crowd of supporters. The APC aims to mobilize 40 million votes nationwide through grassroots engagement, particularly targeting women.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the Kaduna rally is highly significant, given that President Tinubu lost the state during the 2023 presidential election. Party leaders, including Salihu Mustapha, have expressed confidence in a growing consensus among northern stakeholders to secure victory in 2027.
However, the opposition remains adamant, pointing to economic hardship, rising living costs, and persistent insecurity as reasons Nigerians will vote out the ruling party.
