The Abia State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has joyfully celebrated its foremost leader, former Governor of Abia State and Senator representing Abia North, His Excellency Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu (MON), on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Uche Aguoru, the APC described the former governor as a distinguished statesman and one of the pillars of the party in Abia State. The party lauded his visionary leadership, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the growth and unity of the APC, Abia State, and Nigeria at large.
“His dedication to service, grassroots mobilization, and nation-building remains exemplary,” the statement read.
The APC prayed that Almighty God grants Dr. Kalu many more years in good health, wisdom, and strength as he continues to serve the nation and humanity.
Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, who served as Governor of Abia State from 1999 to 2007, is currently the Chief Whip of the Senate. He remains a towering figure in Abia politics and a key national leader of the APC.
The party extended warm felicitations to the senator and his family, celebrating his contributions to the political and economic development of the state.
