Abia Government Orders Verification of Uzoakoli Government Station Layout Land Allocations

The Abia State Government has issued a public notice directing all persons allocated plots of land at the Government Station Layout, Uzoakoli, to immediately present their allocation papers and other relevant documents for verification and regularization.

According to the notice issued through the Office of the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Lands, affected allottees are required to submit the necessary documents to the Ministry of Lands, Umuahia, within fourteen (14) days from the date of publication.

The government stated that the exercise aims to verify and regularize all land allocations within the layout.

In the public notice signed by ESV. Mong N. Uduma, State Director of Lands, on behalf of the Commissioner, advised all affected landowners to comply within the stipulated period.

The notice further warned that failure to present the required documents within the specified timeframe may result in the loss of the allocation. The government also reserved the right to re-allocate any affected plots without further notice.

The Ministry urged all concerned allottees to take the directive seriously and ensure prompt compliance to avoid forfeiture of their land allocations.

Members of the public are advised to contact the Ministry of Lands, Umuahia, for further clarification regarding the verification exercise.
