Women across Abia South Senatorial District have hailed Representative Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr for his recent fertiliser distribution intervention, pledging massive electoral support for his 2027 re-election bid.
The women, comprising farmers’ cooperatives, market associations and community development groups, described the intervention as timely and impactful, noting that it directly addressed agricultural productivity challenges facing rural households.
Speaking at a reception in the constituency, leaders of the women’s groups praised the lawmaker for prioritising practical empowerment over political rhetoric. They highlighted how the fertiliser distribution had boosted crop yields and household incomes for beneficiary families.
“Honourable Erondu Jnr has shown that he understands our needs. This is not just politics; it is genuine representation,” one group leader stated.
The women formally resolved to mobilise their networks across all local government areas in Abia South to ensure his return to the National Assembly in 2027, citing his consistent track record of constituency engagement.
The lawmaker, in his response, thanked the women for their solidarity and reaffirmed his commitment to agricultural development and women’s economic empowerment in the district.
