The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has strongly criticized President Bola Tinubu.
This comes after US President Donald Trump labeled Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern” due to rising insecurity.
In a statement, the ADC’s National Publicity Secretary said the US action highlights the scale of Nigeria’s security collapse.
The party stated that the designation reminds governments of their duty to protect citizens’ lives.
The ADC also questioned Nigeria’s weakened global standing, citing a lack of ambassadors in key countries as a sign of diplomatic failure.
