Abia Central – Chief Chukwunma Victor Nnochiri, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and a contender for the Abia Central Senatorial seat in the 2027 elections, is sponsoring this year’s Umuariaga Community Unity Football Competition.
In a telephone interview with CDA News, Chief Nnochiri, a known sports lover, explained his motivation for sponsoring the community football derby. He emphasized his desire to foster unity, engage the youth positively, and promote healthy communal interaction through sports.
Speaking positively about his people, Chief Nnochiri commended the Umuariaga community for their enduring love, unity, and enthusiasm for football. He described the competition as a platform to harness youthful energy and strengthen social bonds.
As the founder of the founder of Ugo Gbuozuo Ochake Foundation, he reaffirmed his long-term commitment to supporting youth development and community initiatives. Looking ahead politically, Chief Nnochiri assured the people that if elected as Senator for Abia Central in 2027, he would provide quality and credible representation, channeling the same dedication seen in his community projects toward legislative duties.
