APC Chieftain Uzor Nwankwo Endorses Emeka Atuma for Abia Central Senate

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Umuahia North Local Government Area, Chief Uzor Nwankwo, has formally endorsed the senatorial candidacy of Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma for the Abia Central Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 general election.

Speaking during a visit to Atuma, Chief Nwankwo described the former federal lawmaker as the right man for the job, emphasizing his human capacity building, negotiation skills, and past performance when he represented Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency from 2003 to 2007.

He recalled that Atuma’s tenure at the National Assembly was marked by impactful legislation and empowerment programs that spanned the entire constituency and beyond. “His past performance speaks volumes for him,” Nwankwo stated.

The APC chieftain further noted that Atuma possesses the capacity, competence, and legislative prowess to drive sustainable development across Abia Central. He called on the people to trust Atuma’s ability to represent them effectively and appealed to party faithful to rally behind his candidature.

In his response, Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma expressed gratitude to Chief Nwankwo for the visit and the endorsement. He pledged not to disappoint the people if elected, praying for God’s guidance and journey mercy for his supporter as he returned home.
