APC Government Should Be Cut Into Pieces Over Insecurity — Buba Galadima

A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and prominent northern politician, Buba Galadima, has launched a scathing attack on the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led federal government, demanding that it be “cut into pieces” over its failure to address worsening insecurity across the country .

Galadima spoke on Friday in Abuja at a press conference convened by opposition leaders to reject the newly signed Electoral Act 2026 and strategize ahead of the 2027 general elections .

The veteran politician, known for his blunt critiques, expressed outrage at the current state of security, accusing the APC administration of abandoning its primary responsibility of protecting lives and property .

“This government should be cut into pieces. We are not safe in this country. Kidnapping, banditry, and terrorism have become daily occurrences, and those in power are busy playing politics with the lives of Nigerians,” Galadima fumed .

He specifically referenced the recent attack on opposition leaders in Benin City, including former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi and former Edo State Governor John Odigie-Oyegun, describing it as evidence of the government’s complicity in political violence .

“When you cannot guarantee the safety of former governors and presidential candidates, what hope is there for the common man? This is a government that has failed on all fronts,” he added .

Galadima vowed that opposition parties would unite to ensure the APC’s defeat in 2027, dismissing the ruling party’s recent electoral gains, including Governor Fintiri’s defection in Adamawa, as inconsequential .

“Let them take all the governors. We are taking over the country. Nigerians are suffering, and they will show their anger at the polls,” he declared .
