APC Ikwuano Hailed Most Peaceful, Credible, and United Congress

The All Progressives Congress (APC) ward congress in Ikwuano Local Government Area has been described by party stakeholders as the most peaceful, credible, and united exercise conducted in the area in recent times.

Held at the Ikwuano LGA party headquarters in Ndoro, the congress witnessed an impressive turnout of party faithful across all ten wards, who conducted themselves in an orderly manner throughout the process.

Party leaders who monitored the exercise expressed satisfaction with the seamless organization and the spirit of unity displayed by members. Speaking at the Ndoro headquarters, chieftains of the party noted that the absence of acrimony and the smooth conduct of the election of ward executives demonstrated the growing strength and cohesion of the APC in Ikwuano.

“This is APC at its best. What we witnessed today is a model of internal democracy. The process was transparent, and every member had a fair chance to participate,” a party stakeholder remarked.

The peaceful conduct of the congress was further reinforced by the presence of party faithful who remained calm and orderly throughout the exercise, singing solidarity songs and celebrating what they described as a new dawn for the party in the LGA.

Observers noted that the unity displayed at the Ndoro headquarters sends a strong signal that the Ikwuano APC is better positioned for future electoral contests. The elected ward executives are now expected to carry forward this spirit of unity as they mobilize grassroots support ahead of subsequent party activities and the 2027 general elections.

The successful outing at Ikwuano adds to the growing list of peaceful congresses conducted across Abia State.
