The All Progressives Congress (APC) has ruled out any review of the results of its recently concluded primary elections, declaring that the outcomes remain final and binding on all party members.
Party officials stated that the primaries were conducted in accordance with the party’s constitution and established guidelines, adding that there are no plans to revisit or alter the declared results.
The APC leadership urged aggrieved aspirants and their supporters to accept the outcomes in the interest of party unity and cohesion ahead of future electoral contests.
According to the party, attention should now be focused on reconciliation and mobilization efforts aimed at strengthening the APC’s chances in forthcoming elections.
The position comes amid calls from some party members seeking a review of certain primary results over alleged irregularities and disputes arising from the selection process.
However, the party maintained that internal mechanisms for addressing grievances remain available, while emphasizing that the declared winners remain the party’s recognized candidates.
Political observers say the APC’s decision is intended to prevent prolonged internal disputes and ensure the party presents a united front in upcoming political engagements.
The development is expected to shape political calculations within the ruling party as preparations continue for future elections across the country.
