Atuma Visits Isialangwa South Wards, Pledges Sustainable Empowerment

Rep. Emeka Atuma, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District, visited three wards in Isialangwa South Local Government Area on Thursday, October 22, 2026, for a needs assessment ahead of the 2027 general elections.

CDA News Nigeria gathered that the visit covered Anya-Mbutu Autonomous Community (Ward 4), Uhum-Mbutu (Ward 13), and Amuke Okporo-Ahaba (Ward 10). He was accompanied by key party stakeholders, including the APC candidate for Isialangwa South/North Federal Constituency, Chief Sir Uzoma Ihuka, and the State Constituency candidate, Engr. Chibuzor Ehisie.

Addressing a jubilant crowd at the Amankwo Civic Hall, Atuma stated that his mission is to reawaken lost opportunities and provide genuine development. He emphasized that empowerment should not be limited to distributing tricycles (Keke NAPEP).

“I want to offer your children federal employment opportunities. Please support all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections,” he said.

Atuma also pledged to address the road infrastructure needs of the communities. The ward visits form part of his ongoing grassroots consultations to identify pressing needs and discuss possible interventions.
